xandao is all about ‘fascia first functional fitness’
The fascia is an omni-directional matrix of solid and liquid connective tissue that wraps and connects the entire body.
Traditional approaches to fitness are very “muscle”-centric. Muscles are important, but a neglected fascia results in stiffness, lack of mobility, injuries, bad body communication and more.
To keep the fascia healthy it’s important to drink lots of water (2L+ per day, ideally with high quality sea salt + lemon), and MOVE the fascia in all directions. This includes via general exercise, massage (including with fascia tools like massage balls that you might have gotten as a gift), stretching, and more.
We’ll be building out this free resource for fascia learning, exercises, tool review, and more, and offering our town fascia tools individually and in bulk (coming soon).
